CLASS is an assessment tool that measures the interactions in a classroom, which are essential indicators of learning outcomes. It is recommended by the Vermont Agency of Education and is used as part of the Vermont Step Ahead Recognition System (STARS).  Learn more and register online. Participants will:

  • Understand what the CLASS tool measures
  • Understand the link between effective teacher-child interactions and children’s learning gains
  • Identify the teacher-child interactions associated with each CLASS dimension

Comprehensive Assessment Recovery Effort Training (South)

This training will be held at the NewsBank Conference Center in Chester, VT. 

Training opportunity for school members of education support teams sponsored by The Vermont Freemasons, The Vermont Agency of Education, and Vermont Department of Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs. This training is designed to provide strategies for improved and efficient functioning of a School’s Educational Support Team or Targeted Team. The two-day workshop builds educators skills in identifying at-risk students and providing appropriate guidance. No cost to participants. Learn more about the training.
