This session will cover common compliance issues related to postsecondary goals and annual IEP transition goals. This session will also review existing resources.

This training covers postsecondary goals, annual IEP transition goals, and transition services. Each of these three different aspects of an IEP transition plan are defined and examples are given for each so the participant can make distinctions between these three items.

Engaging your Students in the Crosscutting Concepts (Virtual)

The Vermont Science Teachers Association (VSTA) will be offering a workshop series by Peter McLaren, Executive Director of Next Gen Education, LLC on October 20, 2021, from 4-6 p.m., virtually. The workshop will be focusing upon teacher implementation of the crosscutting concepts and the instructional shifts required as a result of the Next Generation Science Standards. This workshop series will be participant-centered, where attendees will engage in a number of activities designed to elevate their understanding of how to implement, crosscutting concepts within their instructional environment.
