Teaching Strategies GOLD Refresher Training (Newport)

Location: Newport City Inn & Suites, Newport, VT

Refresher trainings are appropriate for veteran users of Teaching Strategies GOLD in need of guidance. In this class, you will navigate what is new, what is similar, and what has changed with the MyTeachingStrategies™ platform. Bring your questions on documentation, checkpoints, reports, and/or on any other GOLD area. Participants are expected to attend the one-day training from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Purposeful Lesson Planning for Language Learners Workshop

This two-day learning opportunity will enhance participants' lesson planning processes. Specifically, participants will focus on creating contexts for meaningful language use within settings that integrate content and academic language learning. Throughout this process, participants will explore elements of the WIDA Standards Framework in depth as they design instruction that promotes students' content learning and language development. Register online.

Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool Reliability Training with Pat Snyder (August 2018)

Location: Hilton, Battery Street, Burlington, VT

Audience: Individuals active in training, coaching, technical assistance, or support to teachers currently engaged in implementing the Pyramid Model and/or Pyramid Plus Approach.

The Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) for Preschool Classrooms reliability training prepares attendees to assess preschool teacher implementation of the Pyramid Model practices using the TPOT instrument. Register for TPOT Reliability Training.
