Would you like to learn about a way to measure the interactions that occur in classrooms and how to help teachers improve them? The one-hour webinar, to be held on May 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., will provide a brief overview of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) assessment tool for Pre-K-3rd grade and how it is being used here in Vermont. The CLASS is an evidence-based tool which measures the interactions in classrooms that lead to increased learning outcomes for children. It also has a strong component of professional learning to improve those interactions. The CLASS is now being used as part of the STARS system in Vermont, as well as for professional development and/or evaluation for Pre-K-12 teachers here and across the country.
