DEPARTMENT
OF EDUCATION:
PRESS RELEASES & WEEKLY FIELD MEMOS:
WEEKLY FIELD MEMO
(Updated 2/9/12) |
| |
|
Prior
to January 2007, department correspondence with principals
and superintendents took place on an "as occurring"
basis, often resulting in multiple e-mails weekly.
In
an effort to move away from paper communications and toward
increased efficiency, the department created the DOE Weekly
Field Memo, a compilation of these messages sent to principals
and superintendents in a single, concise and less burdensome
format. All the items contained are important and have
been organized for convenience by intended audience and
topic. The weekly memo is not a newsletter.
In
some cases items in the weekly memo include attachments.
These attachments have been listed separately for your
convenience. All attachments are available for downloading
as PDFs or other standard formats. Field memos will be
archived for three months. For older memos, contact Jill
Remick.
