  2012-2013 VTAAP Administration Guidelines PDF
As an alternate to NECAP, achievement scores for the VTAAP reflect learning relative to a consistent, externally established body of closely defined academic standards. Accordingly, valid alternate assessment scores are considered comparable to those generated by students in the general assessment and are included in the accountability system at the students’ schools. Therefore, it is important that specific guidelines are followed when administering the VTAAP. This document is intended to assist Student Evaluation Teams (SET) in their administration of the VTAAP. Forms 1 through 7 are described and specific instructions are provided.
