Understanding of and compliance with each of these steps is vital for a successful NECAP administration. NOTE: The testing window is from Thursday, October 1, 2009 through Thursday, October 22, 2009. Pickup of materials will be on Monday, October 26.

These manuals provided specific information for NECAP Science testing administrators and facilitators for the preparation and delivery of the May 2009 assessment. It is recommended that at least one week prior to the assessment facilitators become familiar with the test site and the set-up of materials, especially for the extended response tasks of Session 3 in Grades 4 and 8.
