The information in this manual is designed to provide guidance to school administrators and school nurses in the development, implementation and evaluation of school health services.

This manual has been completely revised in an effort to create a more user-friendly document. It is divided into sections alphabetically. Within each section is a statement of purpose, any authorization or legal reference which supports the statement of purpose, required and suggested school nurse and associate school nurse roles, a list of local and national resources and a few sample policies and forms that may be of use.

Revisions to manual sections will be made on a yearly basis.
