Work Sampling System (WSS) – Web-based Version
Pre-k programming may continue to use Work Sampling through the 2011-2012 school year. The Web-based version of WSS includes progress checklists, a digital portfolio for each child, and the capacity to run various types of reports. Under the Vermont state agreement, the cost of the subscription is $12.95 per child/per year. This cost includes the scoring rubrics and the program that calculates the Early Childhood Outcomes required for children on IEP’s.
To apply for Worksamplingonline.com:
- Download and complete the “Work Sampling Registration.”
- Mail or fax the completed form to Pearson. Payment or a purchase order must accompany your registration form.
- Once your registration has been accepted and payment received, you’ll receive an email from Pearson welcoming you and setting you up with a user name and password.
- Each subscription is for twelve months.
