2012-15 Local Technology Plan Template PDF

PARTIAL RELEASE OF FULL PLAN

The following document is a segment from the upcoming release of the Vermont State Technology Plan. This segment is the Local Technology Plan Template Guide and while it may see some minor changes in the final document, this indicates the direction the Vermont Department of Education is moving with regards this next iteration of technology planning. Schools should use this document to begin guiding their work with local technology plan efforts. This spring will mark the end of our current technology plan phase which began in 2009. New technology plans will be due in June of 2012. The document provides a format for the new plan and a series of questions that locals can use under each goal area to drive discussion on actions for continuing to meet the need of all learners.

Questions can be addressed to: Peter Drescher, Education Technology Coordinator, at peter.drescher@state.vt.us or (802) 828-5149.
