		PROGRAMS & SERVICES: MIGRANT EDUCATION     OVERVIEW       Vermont’s Migrant Education Program supports high-quality and comprehensive educational programs for migratory children to help reduce the educational disruptions and other problems resulting from repeated moves. Migratory children are children who are or whose parents are migratory agricultural workers, including dairy farmworkers and loggers, and who have moved in the preceding 36 months in order to obtain an agricultural job.
