In addition to the state-wide data available in the Annual Performance Report, the department has created Local Annual Performance Reports for each supervisory union and supervisory district for 14 indicators. These reports will be published annually, beginning with the 2005-2006 school year (FFY 2005), to meet the requirements of IDEA 2004.
- Use the State Performance Plan to Provide Context: The Revised Part B State Performance Plan (SPP) for 2005-2010 provides the background and context necessary to help interpret those data contained in the Local Annual Performance Reports. For each local reporting indicator, the SPP provides a full explanation of the measurement methodology, baseline data, performance targets and improvement activities associated with each indicator.
- Data Suppression: Data has been suppressed in the reports when cell counts are <11 in accordance with the department small “n” policy for public reporting. This policy is designed to prevent the release of potentially personally identifying student information and/or statistically unreliable information. Suppressed data is noted by “***” or “N/A” depending on the indicator (an explanation is included in the footnotes accompanying each Local Annual Performance Report).
