POLICIES

This page provides examples of policies that have been developed by Vermont schools for attendance, partnership agreements and discipline procedures.

POLICIES
""

For programs to be sustainable, they must be supported by policies and procedures that insure consistency of implementation over time and by different administrations. The policies and procedures offered here can serve as examples for other schools and communities to consider. It is not recommended that the following examples be adopted verbatim. Each school and community should consider the need to be addressed and develop guidelines that are specific to the situation and adhere to existing organizational policies.

Attendance (Truancy) Policies
The following policy examples provide for a graduated response to an unexcused attendance.
