Education Quality Reviews (EQR) help assess the degree to which the Education Quality Standards (EQS) are being addressed in Vermont schools, identify best practices and to support the continuous improvement of our schools.
We will assess implementation of EQS through two reviews:
- Annual Snapshot Review
- Integrated Field Review
The Vermont Agency of Education produced a series of videos to communicate the EQR process to educators, students, families, and communities. This four-part video series features educators from throughout Vermont talking about the history and background, the EQR and Integrated Field Review process, the educator voice in and opportunities for collaboration, and student and community involvement.
Integrated Field Reviews
Integrated Field Reviews (IFRs) will take place during the fall and winter of the 2017 - 2018 school year. For the fall schedule, see below. The winter schedule will be released in September 2017.
The Vermont Agency of Education has produced, in collaboration with Battelle for Kids, a series of videos communicating the promising practices being implemented in four Vermont Supervisory Unions and School Districts identified through the Integrated Field Review process. These videos capture voices from the educators who were part of the pilot process to communicate the purpose of the IFR process and its impact on education in Vermont.
