January P-EBT Template Letter to Households for CEP and Provision 2 Schools

In School Year 2022-23, all public schools in Vermont and some independent schools are offering free meals to all students using Provision 2 or CEP.  This means that all students at these schools are eligible for P-EBT on days that they miss school due to COVID-19.  All public schools and those independent schools offering CEP or Provision 2 should customize these letters as appropriate for their schools and households, and send these letters to households along with the P-EBT FAQs for Households in January 2023.

January P-EBT Template Letter to Households for Pricing Programs

Independent schools operating pricing school meals programs through the National School Lunch Program should customize these pricing template letters as appropriate for their schools and households, and send these letters to households along with free and reduced meal applications when appropriate, and the P-EBT FAQs for Households in January 2023.  Only students who qualify for free and reduced price meals at these schools are eligible for P-EBT on days when they miss school for a COVID-19 related reason.
