Vermont Presidential Scholars Nominations

November 22, 2017

TO: Superintendents, Principals, and Educators
FROM: Secretary Rebecca Holcombe, Ed.D.
SUBJECT: Vermont Presidential Scholars Nominations
DATE: November 21, 2017

The Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) is currently accepting nominations for the state’s 2018 Presidential Scholars Program.

Each year this program recognizes graduating high school seniors who show outstanding scholarship, leadership and service to their communities. All state scholars are invited to apply to the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Each year, up to 161 students are named as national Presidential Scholars – one of the highest honors for high school students.

The AOE strongly encourages you to nominate an outstanding student in your school community. This program is a great way to honor Vermont students and the hard work that takes place in school communities year-round.
