Accessibility Guidelines and Resources

It is the policy of the Agency of Education and the State of Vermont to ensure that people with hearing, visual and other disabilities have equal access to public information that has been made available by the state on the internet. The State of Vermont aligns their accessibility policies and guidelines with federal accessibility requirements for information and communication technology covered by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. These guidelines are reflected in the design and creation of all official State of Vermont web-based information resources.

We provide links to many websites that are not controlled, maintained, or regulated by the Agency of Education or any organization affiliated with the Agency of Education. As such the Agency of Education is not responsible for the content of those websites. Use of information obtained from those websites is voluntary, and reliance on that information should only be undertaken after an independent review of its accuracy. Reference at those websites to any specific commercial product,  process, or service by trade name, trademark, or otherwise, does not constitute or imply endorsement, recommendation, or favoring by the State of Vermont.
