Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool Reliability Training with Pat Snyder (August 2018)

Location: Hilton, Battery Street, Burlington, VT

Audience: Individuals active in training, coaching, technical assistance, or support to teachers currently engaged in implementing the Pyramid Model and/or Pyramid Plus Approach.

The Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) for Preschool Classrooms reliability training prepares attendees to assess preschool teacher implementation of the Pyramid Model practices using the TPOT instrument. Register for TPOT Reliability Training.

CACFP New Manager's Training

This training is a great opportunity for new directors, managers, cooks or any other CACFP staff to receive in depth training regarding CACFP. Participants will learn about recordkeeping, determining income eligibility, expense logs, claims submission, sponsorship responsibilities, menu planning, meal production records, portion size, meal service, basic kitchen, and food safety requirements. It is also a great refresher course for anyone who has participated in the program for many years. Pyramid Model Training of Trainers: Modules 1-3 with Johanna Wasser

Location: Trader Duke’s Hotel, South Burlington, VT

Audience: Individuals who have current or recent experience in the early childhood field-training adults and knowledge of adult learning principles, coaching/mentoring, providing technical assistance and/or supervision.

Pyramid Model Practices support young children’s social and emotional skills and competence The Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children to help early educators build skills for supporting nurturing and responsive caregiving, create learning environments, provide targeted social-emotional skills, and support children with challenging behavior.
