School and SU/SD Per Pupil Expenditures (PPE)
These Excel reports are meant to provide a user-friendly presentation of the PPE data. This data conforms to the above specifications (includes both actual personnel and actual non-personnel expenditures, disaggregated by state/local or federal funds). Please note that ongoing implementation and interpretation of Vermont's Uniform Chart of Accounts (UCOA) may introduce some variability into the PPE data across years or between districts, particularly in the school-level data. PPE in this reporting is calculated as expenditures for public education, excluding PreKindergarten, as well as tuition payments to independent and out of state schools, divided by the corresponding Oct. 1 student enrollment counts.
