Barre, VT. – The Vermont Agency of Education Child Nutrition Program today announced the updated income eligibility guidelines for free or reduced-price meals for children served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), the School Breakfast Program (SBP), the After-School Snack Program (ASP), and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
This is an annual update from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The income guidelines are updated annually to reflect the federal poverty level.
These income guidelines are effective from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. The following household size and income guidelines will be used to determine eligibility:
