District ARP ESSER and Safe Return to In-Person Instruction Plans

Under section 2001(i) of the ARP Act, all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) are required to create and make public their plans for:

  1. the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services required under section, and
  2. their planned use of ARP ESSER funds.

These plans must be in an understandable and uniform format. To the extent practicable, they should be written in a language that parents/caregivers can understand, and, if not practicable, orally translated. Upon request by a parent/caregiver who is an individual with a disability, these plans should be provided in an alternative format accessible to that parent/caregiver.

The Agency of Education, in turn, must collect the URL links to these plans, make them publicly available on the AOE's website and submit them to the US Department of Education.
