Vermont Regional School Calendars for 2025-2026 Due April 1

Audience: Vermont Secondary Students, Superintendents, Principals, CTE Directors, Guidance Counselors, Secondary Educators

16 V.S.A. §1071 (e) requires that before April 1 of each year, the superintendents of schools, and the headmasters of public schools not managed by school boards in an area, shall meet, and by majority vote, establish a uniform calendar within that area for the following school year. The calendar must include student attendance days, vacations, holidays, and the requisite five teacher in-service education days. Please send approved, regional calendars to the Agency of Education at AOE.EDInfo@vermont.gov no later than April 1, 2025, or as soon as approved.

Upper Valley Farm to School Gathering April 29

The Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network invites you to an upcoming Upper Valley Farm to School Regional Gathering, Tuesday, April 29, from 4-6 p.m., with an optional dinner starting at 6pm, at the Sharon Elementary School Gymnasium. The event is free and open to all school staff and community members. Behavioral Threat Assessment Team Office Hours

Audience: Current or prospective BTA team members

Behavioral Threat Assessment (BTA) Team Office Hours are available on Tuesdays from 12 to 2 p.m., and Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. This session will answer questions and provide guidance from the BTA Consultants about the BTA policies and procedures, process tools, best practices, or readiness activities to prepare a BTA Team, including prospective team members. Dual Enrollment System Office Hours

Audience: Principals, CTE Counselors, High School Counselors, Flexible Pathways Coordinators, College Coordinators  

Dual Enrollment Office Hours will be held on April 3, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and from 3-4 p.m. AOE's Student Pathways Division invites counselors and staff from both secondary schools and colleges to a question-and-answer session focusing on the inclusion of Early College into the Dual Enrollment system.
