STARS Payments to Schools Participating in the Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP)
Audience: Administrators, Support Staff
The Vermont Child Development Division (CDD) provides bonuses for programs that participate in the Vermont STARS program, which recognizes programs for implementing high quality services to young children. In order to achieve a bonus, the program must accept children and families who access the Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP). These CDD bonuses are administered by the Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC). As per CDD request, VTAEYC is inviting all participating programs to accept direct deposit for payments. This assures that these payments go directly into school or district accounts. Please note that checks cannot be processed between June 1, 2025 and Sept. 30, 2025, due to restrictions related to the CDD grant end date (however direct deposit payments can still be paid during this time). If you have questions about this process, please contact PDSupports@vtaeyc.org
