This memo is a notification that the Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Performance Report (APR) will open on March 15, 2024. These reporting requirements apply to all recipients of ESSER I, II and ARP ESSER funds and are part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020.

This memo is a notification of the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Performance Report (APR) for Vermont recipients of GEER funds will open on March 15, 2024. In Vermont, GEER funds were made available to Career Technical Education (CTE) Centers (LEA or the Regional Technical Center School District). These reporting requirements are part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020.

This document is intended to help Business Managers and other staff to complete the survey-type questions in the GEER Annual Performance Review (APR) for Fiscal Year 2023. This document is intended to provide a first filter on the use of funds using major accounting codes, but in order to answer the sub-questions, you will need to use their GEER application program narratives, budget details and detailed accounting records.

This presentation provides instructions on complying with the FY 2023 GEER Annual Performance Reporting Requirements. This document is intended for use by Supervisory Union central offices and Career Technical Education Centers.
